Flowers are at their largest and finest in August. Now, is a perfect time to
take time and smell the flowers so to speak. Think I'll go out and pick some
nice ones to enjoy inside the house too.
Enjoy this page of flowers and our grandkids.

Thought for Today - Here is another true story.
At a camping grounds, a black bear was found unconscious lying beneath a tree.
It seemed that the bear had fallen out of the tree. With further investigation
they found that the bear had found and broken into a cooler and consumed 10 cans
of beer.

Holland Lake is a
very large lake that most Montanans don't even know about. At the end of the
lake there is a nice hike to Holland Falls. It has a fantastic over view of lake
and mountains, and the waterfall pretty good also. Finding this lake turned out
to be one of my best days ever. Hope I can say that for all the next new lakes
we find. Enjoy our new video today of Holland Falls, along with a good friend of
ours playing the harmonica.
The raspberries are ripe and the rest of the garden is
looking pretty fine. Like every year, August means smoke and fires. Just a few
burning around here so far. Wonder why our rich country don't invest in a fleet
of 747s built just for water tankers. An American built fleet would make for a
few good jobs also. Now they have put a ban on the fire retardants that have
been used so much. Doesn't take a genius to know that water is the better
choice.

Thought for today - A man trying to understand the nature of God asked him,
"God, how long is a million years to you"?
God answered, "A million years is like a minute."
Then the man asked, "God, how much is a million dollars to you"?
And God replied, "A million dollars is like a penny."
Finally, the man asked, "God, could you give me a penny"?
And God said, "In a minute."

occasionally referred to as "Horse Ballet".
We have put together a fun video of Dressage. These beautiful horses look like

these horses to perform many things, all the while these performances look to be
relaxed and appearing effortless.

Hot as can be, ya got to
love it. Time to get out and do all those summer things that can only be done
when it's hot. We have a favorite swimming hole that I'm sure is patiently
waiting for us to arrive. Bet that lake water is cool, but not cold. I can
almost see myself out there swimming along. Love to do a slow back stroke, with
my ears under water, it puts me into another world. The lake is called the
Stillwater, hope to see ya'll there.
What is your favorite summer activity? Mine is a nice picnic and a day at the
lake.

Holland Lake
Montana. This large lake is one of the hidden treasures of Montana. There are so
many nice lakes to visit, it's as if no one knows it is even there. Boy, I would
love to have a summer home there. This week Becca has put together a real nice
movie about Holland Lake. I'm sure you're going to love the views that surround
this majestic lake. Enjoy!

This week we went to
Holland Lake, near Condon Montana. A truly fabulous Lake with tremendous views,
and I had never heard of it before. Took a few nice movies of the lake and
waterfall. Becca will be putting together a new movie of Holland Lake soon.
So much to see this time of year, hard to decide which way to
go.
The flowers are all in bloom and summer events are in full swing. Get out and
see all you can, God put it here just for You to enjoy.

Ahh... a camping
we will go. Time to take a break and just go play. Our big trip for this summer
is just in time for warm summer temperatures. We will be spending some time at
Holland Lake camping. Also doing a little hiking around the area looking for
those one of a kind photos. There is a nice waterfall where the water enters the
lake. Hope the bears are friendly this year.
Seen my first baby deer from this season today. Awesome to watch them run. Their
spots are so bright and cheerful, just makes you want to smile when thinking
about them.
We are going all organic in the garden this year. Ordered heirloom seeds and
plants, maybe we can even save a few seeds from the plants for next year's
garden.
